SENSEX FLAT WITH NEGATIVE BIAS AT OPEN

Indian
markets dropped in early trade on Thursday erasing earlier gains. The 30-share
benchmark index, BSE Sensex opened flat with a decline
of 15.65 points or 0.09% at 17,586.06, while the broad
based NSE Nifty started with a fall of 3.85 points or 0.07%, at 5,361.10. www.goldennifty.com
The
Sensex was trading down 48.95 points or 0.28% at 17,552.76 with 17 components
falling. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading lower by 10.40 points or 0.19% at

Movers
Infosys
contributed fall of 8.68 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Larsen &
Toubro (8.02 points), Reliance Industries (7.26 points), Tata Steel (3.61

However,
I T C contributed rise of 3.17 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Hero
Motocorp (1.92 points), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (1.74 points), Oil &
Natural Gas Corporation (1.16 points) and H D F C Bank

Major
gainers in the 30-share index were Hero Honda Motors (0.82%), Sun
Pharmaceutical Industries (0.64%), Coal India (0.51%), I T C (0.22%), G A I L
(India) (0.22%), and Mahindra & Mahindra (0.19%).

the other hand, Jindal Steel & Power (4.47%),
Maruti Suzuki India (1.42%), Tata Steel (0.97%), Larsen & Toubro (0.92%),
Cipla (0.64%), and D L F (0.59%) were the biggest losers in the Sensex.
